Dr. Hutchins has over three decades of medical and surgical experience. He currently performs the following surgical procedures (among others) in both the hospital operating room and his office operating room in Gastonia:
• Smartlipo™ Body Sculpting - liquification of fat deposits with a laser and removal of fat with small suction tubes (liposuction), safely performed under tumescent local anesthesia; minimal discomfort and no scar
• Skin Cancer Screening - Dr. Hutchins and his staff will perform a free exam to alleviate the worry of not knowing whether that spot that appeared should be of concern.
• Skin Cancer Surgery - Dr. Hutchins uses special, scar-minimizing suture techniques that he developed. His techniques have been published in cosmetic surgery journals and textbooks.
• Removal of Moles and Other Skin Lesions - excision of pre-malignant and cancerous lesions and moles
• Closure of MOHS excisions of skin cancers - specialized suturing techniques to minimize scarring of larger wounds requiring more extensive surgery
